Scrappy Moms May Release - Day #3

Hello Everyone and Happy Happy Hump Day :)

Chaos in the house ensues as the movers are here loading up all of our boxed items and all of furniture.  I'm pretty sure that this move has officially sunk in!

Today I have another project for the Scrappy Mom's May Release.  Here again is a peek at the 2 new stamp sets that have been released by the talented Scrappy Moms!

Today, I'm featuring the Countless Occasions Stamp Set because I really cannot get enough of this set!  It can be used for so many different projects.  I was getting a little ahead of myself with "Christmas in July" as we are only in May but I couldn't resist making a Christmas card :)  So here it is.

I wanted to make this card look a bit 'vintage' so I used the Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Tea Dye around the edges of my card base.   I love this Santa from Whimsie Doodle!!

And that is it for me today!  Be sure to check out the other amazing creations by the Design Team by clicking on their name in the right sidebar and visit Melissa at Moe Creations.

Scrappy Moms May Release - Day #2

Hello Everyone!  Hope your Monday is going great!!  We have the packers at our house today boxing up all of our goodies so it has been pretty hectic today.

Onto the reason you guys are all here....Day #2 of the sneak peeks of the Scrappy Moms May Release.  If you happened to miss my post on Friday showing off these 2 new adorable sets, check them out below!

Today the Tech Savvy set is being using on my project.  These are all such adorable sentiments but I decided to use the Sentiment "You Refresh Me" in a non-tech way.  I absolutely love stretching your stamps to use them for multi purposes.  So here is how I used the sentiment on my card.

I just love this Frappa Anya and sometimes I just need a chilled beverage from my favorite coffee shop to just Refresh and Recharge me for the rest of the day.  Frappa Anya was colored with copics and I layer her drink and bow with some foam adhesive to add dimension to her.

Hope you guys enjoyed this card!! Don't forget to check out the other design teams projects by clicking on their name in the right sidebar!  Also, be sure to check out our guest designer for this release Melissa from Moe Creations.

See you back here soon with another project for the Scrappy Moms May Release!

Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge - Designer Drafts May Week #4

Hey Everyone and Happy Sunday!

Its time for the Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge and I'm so sad that its my last project with the team!!  It has been an awesome 6 months working with the SPARKS team and I've truly loved every minute of it!

This week is a Designer Drafts Challenge and the image below was to be used as a draft for our project.

I was very proud of myself cause when given a sketch/draft, I have a VERY hard time deviating from the guidelines.  But for this week, I flipped my project upside down! **Gasp** I know major deviation LOL

So here is my final project with the SPARKS team:

I have been trying to find the right challenge to us the My Guys Stamp set but it just never worked out so I'm glad I saved it for this last challenge cause I just love the way this card turned out!  I die cut the clouds out of the blue card stock and inlaid white clouds into the blue card stock.  I also inked around the edges with some Salty Ocean distress inks.  I needed to add a little extra to the clouds so I die cut them from vellum and attached them with some clear foam tape.  Although you can see the clear foam tape through the vellum, I still really love the effect!

Perfect for any golf player in your life :)   Thanks so much for stopping by!  Be sure to head over to the Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge Blog to view the other design teams Stunning projects and to join in the challenge!

See you back here Tomorrow for another project!
