Scrappy Mom's TTC

Hey Everyone!  I hope that your all doing well.  At my house, its a bit crazy.  We have just taken all of the decorations down for Christmas.  We are going to start putting them up this week.  For Thanksgiving, our friends are having us over for the Holiday.  Its so great to have a 'military family' when your family is not around for the holidays :)  And then on Sunday all of my in-laws, mother, father, brothers, sister, and their other half, will be over for our family Thanksgiving Celebration.  To say I'm a wee bit nervous, is an understatement.  I normally only cook for my brother-in-laws and husband and they will eat anything but there will be a lot more people here this time around.  However, I'm looking forward to it and its Kirie's' 1st Thanksgiving!  If I have any advice on cooking a Turkey, i've only done it once but it turned out fantastic, its to cook your turkey UPSIDE DOWN!  Yes, you heard me right.....It keeps the turkey so absolutely juicy, that you really don't need any gravy for it!

Ok, onto what your really here for!  Its another Scrappy Mom's Terrific Tuesday Challenge!   This weeks challenge is called Cuddly Critter!  That's right, pull out those beloved Create a Critter 1 & 2  or if you do not have the cartridges, you can use a svg cut or your silhouette to join in on the fun!

I absolutely love this sentiment from Critter Crazy and had this idea since I saw the sentiment so here is my card:

Hope you guys enjoyed it!  Be sure to check out the other absolutely adorable creations by the Scrappy Mom Design Team by heading over to the Scrappy Mom Blog!

Scrappy Mom's Terrific Tuesday Challenge

Hey Everyone!

I hope that you are all enjoying the Fall weather!  Here in Florida, the temperature drop has been feeling great!  Although its still 77, it feels fantastic :)

Glad you stopped by for another Scrappy Mom's TTC!  Today's challenge is called "Teddy Bear Picnic".  For this challenge, you simply need to use a bear cut out!

For my card, I used the Cricut Lite Live Simply Cartridge.  I just love this little bear!  And I think the sentiment goes just perfectly with it (from the Happy Campers Set).  I think this may be one of my absolute favorite cards!

I have recently been having trouble with combining colors.  So when that happens, I just turn to my trusty Color Coach from Stampin' Up!  The paper used above are not all from Stampin' Up!, however, the color coach can provide you with some guidelines when your in a pickle about matching up colors.

Hope that you guys enjoyed the card!  Be sure to check out the other designers projects by simply clicking on their name in the right side bar.

ALSO.....Scrappy Mom's is having a Guest Designer Call!  Here is your chance to get a sneak peak at a Stamp Set and join us during Release Week in showing off the stamps with your projects! The call is only until Saturday, November 10th!  SO be sure to submit your projects.  You can find all of the information on the Scrappy Mom's Blog by clicking HERE!
