Happy for You Sunrise Ink Blended Background

Happy Wednesday Everyone! I cannot believe we are nearly half way through April...where has the time gone?!

Today I'm bringing you a really simple card with one of my absolute favorite techniques, ink blending.  This technique really is so simple but gives you such a great look on any card.  And you can change up the sentiments for absolutely any occasion, which is a win when you absolutely need a card but can't think of what to create.

The color combination for this ink blended background was inspired by a sunrise that I saw one morning.  It was absolutely stunning and beautiful.  So here's a video showing you how easy it was to create and put this card together:

-Ranger Distress Ink in Spun Sugar

BRI Guest Designer Neat & Tangled "So Happy for You" Watercolor Succulent Card

Hello Everyone!  I hope that you're having a fantastic weekend.  It's spring break in our house and we've baked cookies, dyed Easter eggs, given the little princess a manicure, and done some Easter crafts.

You've probably noticed that I've been away from blogging and making videos for a few months.  Just before Christmas Time, my husband found out that we would be relocated for his job at the beginning of February.  Yup, only a month and a half notice but we made it worked.  We hustled and purged a lot of stuff before the packers arrived and were just getting everything in order before we had to make the move.  So at last, our move from New Jersey to North Dakota arrived.

The drive took us 3 days, with 2 small kiddos and 2 animals.  We were also driving 2 vehicles and it was quite interesting.  We learned how to drive in pretty extreme winter weather conditions rather quickly.  But we made it and our new home was waiting for us right when we arrived.

I must stay that the sunrises here are simply stunning, we get an amazing view right from our living room window and on our drive every morning to school.

Anyways, My craft desk has finally been unpacked (its generally the last priority after getting the rest of the house unpacked, settled and in a routine) and I'm back at it!

Today, I'm a guest designer over on the BRI blog featuring the Neat & Tangled Succulent Journaling Card Stamp Set.  So head on over and check out my post and video showing how I created the card!

You can find the post here.

I'll see you guys soon with some more projects....I cannot wait to get my fingers inky!
