Tiddly Inks Design Team Call -- Christmas in July

Happy Tuesday Everyone!!

I have been finally forcing myself to sit at my crafting desk and try and be crafty.  It has been paying off :) I've actually made some progress on some work.

Incase you haven't heard, Tiddly Inks is having a Design Team Call!!! And to say I was excited is a HUGE understatement! LOL  I absolutely Adore their images, as i'm sure you all can tell by how often I use them :) It would be an absolute honor to work with them and be part of their design team.  I was trying to figure out for the longest time of what I wanted to create for my entry.  I felt like everything wasn't quite what I wanted.

I would have LOVED to submit the card below as it is one of my absolute favorite creations using one of their stamps the but the design team call required a new project for the entry:

So off to the drawing board I went again in trying to create something.  I decided to turn to trusty Mojo Monday Blog for some inspiration in a sketch.  I'm pretty happy with how this card turned out!  I have been so into Christmas in July this year and so I thought I'd create a holiday card.  But man oh man....talk about cutting it close, tonight is the deadline.  But I always work best under pressure ;)

Scrappy Mom Stamps July Release - Day #3

Happy Monday Everyone!!

I'm hoping that my creative flow comes back this week but in the mean time, I had to make some Thank You cards to send to some family friends who sent gifts for Kirie's Birthday.

I decided to pair up Scrappy Mom "Many Thanks" Stamp Set and the NEW "Rick Rack/Chevron" Die.  I must say that the Many Thanks Stamp Set is a MUST HAVE to any stampers collection.  You will totally get so much use from this set!

So here is what was created:

Its something very simple and you can create a ton of them all at once (which I did) in a very short time.  AND you can make a lot of these using your scraps!!  The strips that I used in the chevron die are scraps that I had from creating the mini-brag book and using the Bundle of Joy Dots & Stripes Girl collection.

And here is the photo that I included in the cards....I still can't get over how well it turned out :)  Sorry, I'm tooting my own horn a little LOL!!

Hope you enjoyed!

Scrappy Moms July Release - Day #2

Hey Everyone, hope your having a great start to your week.  I've been in a bit of a funk lately so I apologize for my delayed post.

But I managed to create something and I turned out ok, I especially LOVE the imaged stamp that I used.

If you've been out of it lately like me, hehehe, Scrappy Moms Stamps is having a release of a Brand New Stamp Set "Lean on Me" and a metal die "Rick Rack and Chevron Die".  Check them out below:

Of course, as you probably guessed, Im using another colored image on my card today.  For today's image, I'm using a retired but favorite stamp from The Greeting Farm "Cuddle Anya".  I decided that I wanted the image to be a bit bigger, so I scanned her and enlarged her for this card.  She is just such a precious image!

I couldn't help but use the Hello Summer 6x6" paper pad by Echo Park again.  I just love the bright fun colors! Its hard to tell because the image is so large but I did use the rick rack die to separate the 2 different types of pattern paper.

Hope you guys enjoyed!  Be sure to check out the other great project by the designers by clicking on their name in the right sidebar!

A late TTC for Scrappy Mom Stamps!

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

I'm late for another Terrific Tuesday Challenge at Scrappy Mom Stamps Blog!  I'm so sorry, as I mentioned in my last post, Kirie turned 1, we had her party and my mother in law was visiting in our home from Canada for the celebration!  It was quite a bit chaotic but we survived and our baby is officially a 'big girl'!  Gosh does time fly by....Oh and during all of the chaos, I decided I would do her 1st birthday photo shoot.  I took just about 200 pictures and it is a miracle that I have a few to work with because she just didnt want to sit still :)

I'll be sure to give you a peak once I've finished using the tricks my brother in law taught me in editing the pictures (he does animation and is always working with photoshop).

On to why your really here, this weeks TTC's theme is the great outdoors!  Gosh there is so many things that could be considered the 'great outdoors' so go ahead and join in :)

I decided to use some of the washi I have mentioned I've been hoarding.  When I saw this moose in the silhouette store, I just couldn't resist!

Here is what I came up with:

Love how the washi worked with this card!!  Hope you guys enjoyed and don't forget to head over to the Scrappy Mom Stamps Blog to see the other great designs by the design team and to join in the challenge for your chance to win a Stamp Set of your choice!

Whimsie Doodle June Challenge - Sun Kissed Beach Card

Hello Everyone!  Happy Tuesday!

Hope that your week is off to a great start!  This weekend was a bit busy with our daughters 1st birthday party going on but it was fantastic!!  I have photos of some things I created for the party, but i'll do that in a separate blog post in a couple days.

Today, I decided to join in on the Whimsie Doodle Blog with their monthly challenge.  This months challenge was to create a Summer Fun project using one of their stamps.  My inspiration totally came from Kirie's first trip to the beach and the big blue and pink hat she was wearing.  She just so happened to be wearing it in the picture below on our trip to Disney just 2 weeks ago and she flashed her dad a BIG cheesy smile when he took out the camera, that I just HAD to show you :)

So, here is the card that I created to represent our summer fun.

Just loved how it turned out!  And I just LOVE this image from Whimsie Doodle!  Be sure to check out all of the guidelines for this months challenge here and join in!

Supplies:
-Echo Park Perfect Summer 6x6" paper pad
-Copics
-Simon Says Stamps 120 lbs. cardstock (copic coloring)
-Momento Tuxedo black ink
-Versafine Ink & White embossing powder
-Spellbinders Labels #14 die
-Recollections Glitter Dots

Super Duper late TTC post!

Hello Everyone and happy Wednesday!

I know that this post is BEYOND super late but its been quite hectic around here!  We got back from our trip to Disney on Saturday.  My parents and sister left to head back to Jersey on Sunday.  And the last 2 days, i've been unpacking, trying to get back into a routine.  Oh and mother in law arrives to our home today for a 2 week vacation.  So naturally I've been cleaning and tiddying up quite a bit before she arrives.  Oh yes, and my daughter turns 1 on FRIDAY!! Crazy how fast time FLIES by...its been an amazing year and I can't believe she is going to be 1 already.  We are having a birthday party for her on Saturday, so again more things and lists to get done!

Wheeeewww...i'm worn out just thinking about it all.  But now you see the reason for my delay.

On to the reason your all here...Scrappy Mom Terrific Tuesday Challenge!

If you haven't participated before, join in the fun!  TTC, as we call it for short, happens the first and third Tuesday of every month.  Be sure to check out the Scrappy Moms Blog to view the other designers projects and enter in the challenge for your chance to win a Scrappy Moms Stamp Set of your choice!!

This weeks challenge was oh so fitting as the theme is Fourth of July.  I cannot believe it is July already!  So for my project today, I kept it very simply with a Whimsie Doodle image, some doodlebug design starts & stripes paper, copics, and of course Scrappy Mom Stamp Set "Yankee Doodle Dandy".

Hope you guys enjoyed and have a fabulous and safe 4th of July tomorrow!!
