Scrappy Moms Terrific Tuesday Challenge - Oh So Very Late!

Hello Everyone and happy Tuesday!  I'm so incredibly sorry that my post is at the later part of today but I have been busy helping my hubby with his last week of College Algebra 2 Homework and prepping for the Final.  *Sigh*  I absolutely love math but I must be getting hold cause its getting harder LOL

If you are new to my blog, Scrappy Moms Stamps hosts a Terrific Tuesday Challenge on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month.  You'll notice that we are behind a week, as we were having our sneak peek release last week, but they are primarily on the 1st and 3rd tuesday of each month.

This week.... we are in the spirit of Halloween!!  You can create any project as long as it is Halloween related; it can be as spooky or cute as you would like!

Be sure to enter into the challenge at the Scrappy Moms Stamp Blog to win a Scrappy Moms stamp set of your choice!

I went with the very simple but cute design below:

Love the simplicity!

And a close up!

I'll have a video up for this card as part of my Fall/Halloween Mini Series soon!  Hope that you all head over to Scrappy Moms Stamps Blog and join in the challenge... I'd love to see your creations :)

Holiday Mini Series Day 2 - Scrappy Moms October Release Day 3

Hey Everyone!  We are in the home stretch to the weekend, Hooray :)

I wanted to show you all another card that I've created using the Scrappy Moms Stamps 'Merry & Bright' Set.  I seriously love this set and may just create a card for every single sentiment!!

Need a refresher on the stamp set?  Take a look below:

This release also included Candy Grams, which is a fun stamp set.  Here's what that one looks like:

I've gone back to my favorite tool for this card....COPICS!  But I'm sure most of you already guessed that ;)  Here is the card I created below:

This card sketch came from Freshly Made Sketches.  Every once in a while I need a change up from what I'm usually creating and I search the web for some card sketches.  These make me think outside the box and provide inspiration.  This particular sketch is sketch 105 and is from back in September.

Want to see how I created this card?  Check out my video below:

I hope that you enjoyed this card, as well as all the other cards created for Scrappy Moms Stamps October Release!  I am so proud and honored to be part of the Scrappy Moms Stamps team, Mel & Tammy are the greatest 'bosses' anyone could ask for :)

Be sure to check back soon for some more cards in the Holiday Mini Series and Fall/Halloween Mini Series!

Holiday Mini Series Day 1 - Scrappy Moms Stamps October Release Day 2

Hello Everyone!  Happy Tuesday!

Its time to show case another card featuring one of Scrappy Moms new Stamp Set but this time I'm using "Merry & Bright".  If I haven't mentioned it before, Christmas is my FAVORITE time of year.  Not for the gifts or the busyness but the spirit around that time of year, the lights, decorations, and the happiness of being around family.

I could make christmas cards all year around but it makes me extra giddy when fall starts to create christmas cards :)  So what better time then now with the brand new stamp set from Scrappy Moms!!

Check out the stamp set below:

The card I made is solely from the Silhouette Studios!  I like to deviate from my copic coloring every once in a blue moon.  And when I first saw this card, I just simply couldn't pass it up.  It is a great option for christmas cards that need to be mass produced for family and friends.

Enough of me talking....check out below the card I created!

I love how it turned out and the slightest bit of stickles makes the whole card sparkle :)

Scrappy Moms Stamps- October Release Day #1

Happy Friday Everyone and Welcome to Day #1 of the Scrappy Moms Stamps October Release!

I'm sure you all are as excited to see these as I was when I received them in the mail.  They absolutely adorable, must have sets in your collect, and perfect for the upcoming season :)

Take a look at them below:

Candy Grams is just perfect when perfect to add to a scrumptious treat for co-workers or maybe your children's snacks, or when they bring goodies in to school for friends!  Merry & Bright.....you simply cannot go wrong with a Christmas set!!!  I have all of Scrappy Moms Holiday Sets and I love and use them ALL like crazy!  So add this one to your list of must haves :D  You can purchase both of these sets HERE on the Scrappy Moms Stamp Store.

Ok, onto my project.  I have TONS of cards sketched out for Merry & Bright as it is my absolute favorite time of the year BUT I wanted to challenge myself on day one.  I wanted to show how versatile Candy Grams can be and how it can be used on other projects, not dealing with Candy.  So here is my project below:

When I saw the Apple Lizzie by Whimsie Doodle, I knew she was the perfect image to pair up with with this sentiment from Candy Grams! I really love how she turned out!

Here's a close up of the glossy accents on her hair bow and apple.

Hope you guys enjoyed this project!  I liked it so much, I decided to enter it into the Whimsie Doodle monthly challenge!  I also have a video on this card, which is in the process of editing and will be up shortly :)

Scrappy Moms Terrific Tuesday Challenge

Hello Everyone!  Happy Tuesday.  Hope that you all are having a great start to your week.

If you haven't participated before, please join in on the fun!  TTC, as we refer to it for short, happens on the first and third TUesday of every month.  Be sure to check out the Scrappy Moms Blog to view the other designers projects and to enter in the challenge for your chance to win a Scrappy Moms Stamp Set of your choice!!

For this weeks challenge, you must use a silhouette cut.  Now this doesn't mean that you have to use your silhouette cutting machine, just need to use a silhouette cut. (If you need some ideas, check out the scrappy mom's blog).

Here is what I created below.  I decided to keep with my recent Fall/Halloween theme and make this Project #4 of the mini series I have going on right now.  ((No video on how I made this card as it was super late at night when I created this one))

I especially like how the moon turned out.  Its just a die cut circle in white cardstock and I sponged it with Harvest Gold, Summer Sunrise, and Terracotta Title dye ink from Papertrey Ink.  Its a really easy but cool effect :)

Hope you guys enjoyed and be sure to check out the Scrappy Mom's Blog for all of the designers projects!!
