Its the 1st Tuesday of the month and that means it Scrappy Moms Terrific Tuesday Challenge. If you haven't joined us before, please join in on the fun of the challenge! This weeks challenge is titled "April Showers bring May Flowers" and its a flower themed challenge! We'd love to see what you create using flowers on your project!
For this challenge, I used a brand new Stamp set (to me) from Avery Elle and its so fitting for this theme. Since mother's day is rapidly approaching, I thought I'd create a card to send to my Mom :)
I stamped all of the flowers and leaved individually and then fussy cut them all out. I wanted them to surround the oval on the front of the card. Looking at it now, I wish I would have used a scalloped oval to really frame the cut out but there is always next time.
My mom absolutely adores flowers and has a beautiful garden....I'm sure this will put a big smile on her face for Mother's Day!
