Hey Everyone,
I thought I'd do a quick post before heading out for the night. My brother-in-law is turning the BIG 21!! So we're going out for dinner and drinks and than back home for hanging out for the rest of the night. Then tomorrow my sister-in-law will be joining us all for lunch and pie {because my b.i.l. doesn't like cake:)}.
So as I've been posting video's this past week, I've also been creating behind the scenes! Tons of cards and I made a home decor project :-o YES HOME DECOR!! I was chatting with my buddy Cristi from Scrappin 5 Little Cupcakes all night, as we do most nights LOL and I felt motivated to create. So I had received a vinyl "T" in my Starter Kit from Stampin' Up! and they suggest not to apply vinyl to a textured surface. Well, in Florida, the in thing is textured walls so i didn't want to risk putting it on the wall and it looking Funky! hahah so this is what I created!!!
I absolutely LOVE the way it turned out!!! And want to know how much it cost me???? $2.50!!!!! The frame was on clearance at walmart and yes the paper did cost me money and so did the "T" but that was part of my starter kit. So lets say that the project overall probably cost me $10?? FANTASTIC PRICE!! I decorated the back with paper, and than I put the vinyl on the glass. That way if I'm tired of the background, I can just change it and put something else in the frame! The flowers are from Forever Young Cartridge. I did make a video to show you how I made it, and I made it as I went along. There wasn't too much preplanning, just the colors were planned!
