Good Morning Everyone!!

So its a new day, good gracious the first day in September!! This year seems to have just FLOWN by! Any how, I was up bright and early putting out the trash and recycles for collection and I feel quite cheery this morning! LOL
Unfortunately, I don't have a video ready for you guys early this morning BUT I'm hoping to have one posted by tonight or tomorrow morning. So since I don't have a video ready for you just yet......I thought I'd show some pictures of recent projects that don't have video's to go with them! I hope you all enjoy them :) Any questions about them let me know!!
This card was for my Brother In Law's birthday this past weekend. The close up shows that I dry embossed and than sanded the sheet so the "happy birthday" messages would stick out a bit more.

My SNOW GLOBE CARD!!! 2 weekends ago, while my husband was playing his game and I had no idea what to do, he suggested I make a Xmas card with my new cartridge "joys of the season". My husband is brilliant i tell you! LOL so I made this!!! This is a shaker card, the little circle cutouts shake around....I was impressed with myself on this card. There are some things I'd do differently for next time but overall...I really liked how it turned out :)

AHHH my little witch!!! As some of you know, I just recently became a Stampin' Up! hobby demonstrator! I primarily became one to get my discount and sell to my sister in law who is also a stamping junkie, like me! LOL So everything you see on this card, with the exception of the sentiment & border punch, is from Stampin' Up! She is just so stinkin cute!!!! I colored her in with my sharpie and bics and used an aqua painter and ink to color in her face. I LOVE how this turned out and I love the designer(patterned) paper!! The sentiment is from the fabulous set from Scrappy Mom's "A Haunting we will go" and the border punch is from no other than Martha Stewart! What do y'all think???

So the other day, i got this random urge to sew......yes I said it Sew! And not sew on my card but make something. Now some of you might be scratching your heads, hahaha, but my momma did teach me how to sew before I got married. She has 5 brothers and 2 sisters and she, her sisters, and my grandmother would MAKE their own clothes when they were growing up. So she knows a thing or two. :) Any how, I bought this pattern months before my wedding when I feel in love with this top and I also bought the fabric but never got around to it. So I put my big girl panties on the other day and braved it out without my mother by my side to help me and I made this top!! Now the sleeves are a little 70's but I still think I did pretty stinkin' good for my first time ever making a piece of clothing!! THANKS MOM!! You taught me well!!!!
Have a fantastic rest of the day, and check back for the next video on showing you how exactly I created my stamp storage system!!
